Celexil is from Newton-Everett, and is a all-natural mood enhancement.  This product claims to fight depression and anxiety. First off, this is a pretty bold statement!

The good thing in looking at the major ingredient in Celexil – St. John’s Wort, is that there is plenty of research available on the efficacy of the drug’s ability to fight depression.  First and foremost, there have been many studies done on the drug, with conflicting results.

One group of studies claim that St. John’s Wort is equivalent to prescription anti-depressants in effectiveness, while the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine issued a report stating that it had little effect on depression symptoms.

With the controversy surrounding the study of over 5000 subjects in German speaking countries (the first group of studies mentioned) I would be more likely to side with the second study.  I will discuss this subject in a later section, but let’s get into contents:

  • St. John’s Wort
  • 5-HTP
  • B6
  • B12
  • Folate
  • Magnesium

I am not a medical doctor, but seeing that depression is a potentially dangerous and life-threatening illness, be sure to consult a physician before deciding on an effective treatment plan.

Celexil Side Effects

Warning:  If you have major depression symptoms, be sure to consult a physician.  This is far too serious of a disease to take lightly.  I have had family members lose their lives over complications with depression, and I wouldn’t want the same fate for anyone else.

Please, consult a physician and psychiatrist as soon as possible if you feel you suffer from any of the common symptoms found on WebMD or the Mayo Clinic’s website.

Does Celexil work well enough to buy?

Seeing that depression is a major illness, do not take it lightly.  Consult a physician immediately! Your life is worth more than saving a few dollars.  I would urge strongly to use the scientifically proven and tested prescriptions over a shot in the dark.  Be smart!
