As can be expected from the name of the product, Hoodia is a major part of this supplement. Although this is an important portion of the supplement, it is only less than 1/4 of the supplement as a whole.
Hoodiadrene claims to burn fat, suppress appetite, increase one’s energy and strength, and improve muscle tone. These are all similar claims to many products, but to me I find this one a little contradictory. How can one burn off body content, while increasing muscle mass (all without working out)? If you have the answer get back to me. Here’s the list of ingredients:
- Green Tea Extract
- Hoodia Gordonii
These are pretty common ingredients in diet pills today. Again, this supplement is readily available from many sources online. Due to this, I haven’t been able to find a specific return policy that coincides with this supplement.
Hoodiadrene Side Effects
Green Tea Extract can and has been proven to assist in weight loss. It is one of the best ingredients available on the market today. This being said, it is contained in a proprietary blend in Hoodiadrene.
Due to this, it is unclear how much Green Tea Extract is in the supplement, and if it contains the amounts necessary to aid in weight loss. There are some negative effects that are potentially associated with taking Green Tea Extract, according to the University of Maryland’s Medical Center Website: “People with heart problems, kidney disorders, stomach ulcers, and psychological disorders (particularly anxiety) should not take green tea. Pregnant and breast-feeding women should also avoid green tea.”
Advantra-Z contains Synephrine, which may cause a rapid increase in blood pressure, cardiac arrythmias, restlessness, agitation, respiratory problems, headaches, dizziness, and blood sugar issues.
Does Hoodiadrene work well enough to buy?
It should be noted here that there are a couple of ingredients in Green Tea Extract and Advantra-Z that have been clinically proven to assist in weight loss. Because they are contained in a proprietary blend, I am unable to determine just how much of each ingredient is in each serving.
This makes it impossible to determine its effectiveness. Furthermore, Hoodia hasn’t been clinically proven to assist in weight loss. There is no scientific evidence backing up the claims that Hoodia makes. For the most effective products, be sure to look to those with clinically proven ingredients, in adequate amounts.
