IsoDrene

IsoDrene is one of the many diet pills that is based on the hormone HCG. This hormone is produced in newly pregnant mothers by the embryo, to ensure proper growth and development.

Any HCG diet pill like IsoDrene is intended to be used in conjunction with a near-starvation diet of only 500 calories a day. This diet is also supposed to be made up mostly of protein, leaving out the fats and carbohydrates.

This kind of diet is potentially very dangerous. Your brain is only able to function on energy that it receives from carbohydrates, so this may put your whole body at risk. You do not want to deprive your command center of fuel because it is like making your body’s boss grumpy.

IsoDrene Ingredients

IsoDrene is made only of two proprietary blends. This is never a good sign. Instead, it is a clever way for IsoDrene to avoid disclosing ingredient amounts, which makes it more difficult to decide if this diet pill will work or not. Without ingredient amounts, we cannot be sure you will experience any of the benefits of the ingredients.

Yerba Mate – This has a form of caffeine that does not affect your central nervous system. It will give you energy and suppress your appetite while also possibly offering some boost to your metabolism. It also slows the digestion of food so your stomach feels full for longer.

Guarana Extract – This small, nut-sized fruit contains about twice the amount of caffeine of a coffee bean. It will also suppress your appetite while offering an energy boost.

Damiana Extract – This is a small shrub that purportedly has a positive effect on the libido. It has also been suggested that it has a relaxing effect on your central nervous system.

Caffeine – This has the opposite effect of Damiana in regards to your central nervous system. It will offer appetite suppression and a jolt to your energy levels.

The second proprietary blend in IsoDrene is supposed to be a substitute for HCG. HCG is highly regulated and has not been proven to produce weight loss results. IsoDrene goes for the solution that many other HCG diet pills use in order to leave HCG out of the formula; they offer some of the amino acids that make up HCG, but not all.

There are a total of 244 amino acids in HCG, so IsoDrene’s attempt to reconstruct HCG with 19 amino acids is pretty weak.

IsoDrene Side Effects

Even though we cannot see amounts, IsoDrene likely contains a hefty dose of caffeine, which may lead to jitters or nervousness. It may also leave you feeling sluggish and tired after the effects wear off. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you should definitely ask your doctor about use of IsoDrene.

We are also worried about the risks of subsisting on only a 500-calorie diet. By subsisting on a 500-calorie diet, you run the risk of developing anemia, heart problems, bone loss, amenorrhea, constipation, bloating, nausea, electrolyte deficiency, kidney problems, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or anxiety disorder.

Is IsoDrene Worth the Risks?

Not only do we seriously doubt IsoDrene’s ability to help you lose weight, we also are concerned that it promotes an incredibly unhealthy way of losing weight. Even if you lose weight, we think it will cause far more risks than benefits. We recommend avoiding IsoDrene at all costs. Instead, check out our 10 safe diet pills that work.
