A common tactic of diet supplement companies is to act like the said product is designed “for experts only”.  Due to the fact that they actual professional body building market is rather small compared to general weight loss, this tells me that this really isn’t designed for professionals, but rather to trick people into believing so. I’m not saying that this is a bad claim, considering that marketing is everything when it comes to diet pills.  The first and most important thing to look at when judging a diet pill is to look at the ingredients.  Some of the most prominent ingredients in the supplement are:

  • Dandelion
  • Uva Ursi Extract
  • Green Tea Extract
  • Caffeine
  • Various healthy foods

There doesn’t appear to be a money-back guarantee.  You can find this supplement on a few websites.  The claim of this pill is to help one get ripped, so that they can maximize the benefits of working out.

Razor Ripped Side Effects

Dandelion is a diuretic, and so you may experience increased urination.  Be sure to avoid other diuretics while taking supplements with dandelion.

Green Tea Extract has been proven to assist in weight loss.  It has many benefits, and consuming it will benefit you with your weight loss program.  Some Green Tea’s do have caffeine in them.

Caffeine is another ingredient found in Razor Ripped.  Caffeine has some side effects including nausea, restlessness, some insomnia, increased heart rate, and increased blood pressure.  Pregnant and nursing mothers shouldn’t consume caffeine, and all that have issues with caffeine should consult a doctor before consuming.

Uva Ursi has some potentially damaging side effects, and due to the high content of Uva Ursi in this supplement, we want to issue a warning.  Uva Ursi has potentially caused urinary, bladder, and kidney infections.  Other side effects include vomiting, fever, and nausea.  This supplement shouldn’t be used for more than a week at a time, and pregnant and nursing mothers shouldn’t use it at all.  Consult a physician about the potential side effects of Uva Ursi.

Does Razor Ripped work well enough to buy?

While there are a few ingredients that do assist in weight loss, there are too many side effects for us to give this a perfect stamp of approval.  It is a pretty cheap supplement (price), but what you save in money could cost you dearly in health benefits.  Overall, there appears to be too much risk to seriously consider this a viable option.  There are better supplements that are similarly priced, and much safer.
