I think you are right about the ingredients. I believe that most of the ingredients you have listed are called Capsinoids, which can be found naturally in red chili's. As well as controlling body weight, they are supposed to be able to reduce the risk of cancer. They also have anti-inflammatory properties, and work as a pain killer. I don't think there is much of a chance that I'll ever used Ripped Freak due to the caffeine content, but I appreciate you mentioning this in your review none the less.
Thanks. Sally.

This is the second time I've taken Ripped freak... the first time I took it (about a yr ago) I lost considerable weight... I am by no means fat and it helped me to shred those last few pounds to look completely ripped in my mid section..
However, I am on my second time taking it.. and its not working so well.. I am not noticing any considerable weight loss.. and I am on an even better diet with it.
Both times taking it I have experience the following side effects: Sleepless night, lightheadedness, aggresivness, and a general shift in my mood.. not depressed.. but not happy.. once i stopped taking the drug I instantly felt more mentally positive...

Ripped freak works well. Gives plenty of energy, boosts metabolism, Controls appetite. I noticed results in the first few days of using it. Dropped weight , Needed to go to the gym more often to let off steam. But found myself getting irritated alot quicker and easier than usual. so would go to the gym then feel normal again. on the first day of using it my eyes were bulging and felt kinda tunnel vision but kinda enjoyed it lol. The next day it wasnt so intense. can feel the boost in energy within 30mins of taking it.

Just started the stuff this morning, feeling jittery.

I have taken plenty of fat burners in my life time, even some stuff you “can’t buy” in the stores. As a suggestion to anyone new to these types of supps:

Tolerance: this is the biggest factor. I suggest you start ripped freak on a Friday/Saturday, so you know you’ll be able to stay up a little later if need be. You might want to take only one pill the first few days to see how you fair.

Water: The box recommends taking it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning??? And you wonder why it’s giving you nausea  You will need AT LEAST two cups of water (1 liter / 4 cups is better). They recommend ingestion on an empty stomach for a couple of reasons: 1. absorption and 2. the assumption you’ll be working out in the morning (on that empty stomach which a lot of people tend to do when they’re dieting). People into competitive fitness might balk at this because of water retention but, come on be realistic. Even if you were drinking lots of water, how long do you think it would take to shed that water retention? A day or two? Three? This product is a diuretic; it’ll do the work just give it time.

Diet: If you think you can survive on eating just celery and steam through your dieting, you’re sorely mistaken. You might be able to keep it up for a week, maybe two but it’ll catch up with you. The intention is to lose fat and retain the muscle; which is anathema to how your body works. I’m not going to get into the nitty gritty of dieting but if I could make one suggestion it would be protein supplementation, especially if you’re on a low carb diet.

This product is definitely a case by case situation (it's going to have different affects on different people), but I have to agree with some of the other comments, I think some people are completely over-exagerating or aren't using the product correctly.

A little background - I'm a 25 year old female, 140 pounds (looking to lose those pesty 10 pounds!). Used to be a dancer and gymnast for 10 years so I am naturally toned minus the "extra" I put on after quiting. I'm interested in seeing what this does for me (if anything at all).

I personally started using it yesterday and I felt great (no nausea, dizziness... didn't even feel jittery). I took it an hour before I went to the gym, drank TONS of water before and after taking it and I had loads of energy and found myself working harder at the gym. I slept GREAT last night. I just took another one to prep myself for todays workout and still no sign of nausea or anything - just lots of energy.

Maybe I'm the old guy here ? !
I'm 51, 5 ft 9 in, 179 pounds. through high school, I wrestled, and got into weight training, as well as some long distance running. On and off, I've tried to stay in shape.
In mid 2009, after "swelling" to about 208 pounds, I became OBSESSED with re-gaining my youth ( simplest way to describe it ).
Put myself on a rigorous "body building" style weight training program, and added 6-10 mile brisk walks each day. I adjusted my diet a bit, and lost 34 pounds of pure fat, in 15 weeks.
Fast forward to now.
I'm 179 pounds, trying desperately to get rid of this last 4 pounds of fat around my lower "middle age" belt line. Yes, that's ALL I can lose.
My strength is good. My metabolism is off the charts ( eat 4 times a day, around 150 grams protien a day ) I do my 1 hour weigt training session, no less than 5 days a week.. usually 6. It's broken up into Chest / tricep... back / shoulder.... legs / abs... bicep / fore arm.
weights used for some of the excercises::
Flat bench 145 - 190 - 165 6 sets of 4 - 8 ( torn rotator cuff limits things )
flys 45 pounds, 4 sets of 8
tricep press 75 pounds, 4 sets of 8
overhead pullover 105 pounds, 4 sets of 8
one arm dumbell row 105 pounds, 4 sets of 8
rear pull downs 180, 4 sets of 8
barbell shrugs ( frt / rear sets ) 343 - 360 pounds, 3 sets of 8
Leg extensions 180 pounds, 4 sets of 8
Hack squats 270 - 300 pounds, 4 sets of 8
Abs... one session crunches, next session sit ups using 20 pounds
Curls 95 pounds, 4 sets of 8
wrist curls 130 pounds, 4 sets of 8

Yeah, I've been at this for a while

Point is, I was getting REAL frustrated with being unable to shed this 4 pounds... so, I tried ripped freak.
$&%&@^!!!!!!, in the name of all that's holy !!!!!!!!!
Is this stuff freaking JUNK !!!!!!!!!!
took it for a week
Shaking, dizzy, blurrred vision. ABSOLUTELY no energy. All but completely shut off my metabolism.

yes indeed
Maybe it's just bcause I'm old ?
I don't know.
Al I can say is, there should be a class action suit filed against the manufacturers of this junk, and the people who sell it.

yeah, I still have my extra 4 pounds

Taken for about a week now, have had nausea and diarrhea but nothing terrible. I do not get these side effects if I drink a lot of water, which the pack says to do. Have had results, went from 75-72.6kg in 6 days. My workouts have been amazing and I have increased my cardio thanks to the energy. I am also studying currently and gives a lot of energy to keep studying but only good to study after I workout otherwise I am shaky and can not focus due to caffeine. I reccomend this product. I thoroughly enjoy it.
