Turbo Shred
The Skinny on Turbo Shred
According to the manufacturers, Turbo Shred is ”Scientifically formulated by an expert team of nutritional specialists, our powerful new thermogenic complex, TURBO SHRED™ has been developed specifically to support and accelerate your weight-loss efforts.” Better yet, it claims to work “without jitters and crash free.”
Scientifically formulated to accelerate weight loss efforts without jitters? Sounds pretty good to us, but considering we have seen hundreds of mediocre diet pills claim the same thing…it would probably be a good idea to do a little more research on Turbo Shred. In this review we’ll take you behind our research and analysis of Turbo Shred.
Turbo Shred Ingredients
Turbo Shred is comprised of one big proprietary blend of 900 milligrams which contains:
- Caffiene
- Glucuronolactone
- Phenethylamine HCL
- Synephrine Caprylate
- Nettle Leaf Extract
- Yohimbine HCL
- Picamilon
- Inositol Nicotinate
There isn’t much in Turbo Shred that separates it from the competition. If you are looking for a caffeine-based diet pill, that isn’t neccesarily a bad thing. If you are looking for serious weight loss, you probably would be better off with a more effective diet pill. Caffeine will provide energy and when combined with other quality ingredients can even boost the metabolism, but caffeine will not provide more than a pound or two of weight loss.
Out of the other ingredients in Turbo Shred, only Phenylethylamine HCL and Synephrine are backed by any sort of clinical study to provide weight loss. But because Turbo Shred does not disclose the dosages of their ingredients (they are hidden in proprietary blends), there is no way of knowing if there is enough of either ingredient to make a difference.
Turbo Shred Side Effects
Turbo Shred promises “no jitters and no crash”, but it contains ingredients associated with both. If you are sensitive to stimulants, Turbo Shred is probably not a good pill for you.
Because of the proprietary blend there is no way of knowing the dosage of the stimulants in Turbo Shred. Caffeine is listed as the first ingredient, which typically implies it has the highest dosage in the proprietary blend. So Turbo Shred may be not as jitter-free as it advertises:
Common side effects associated with ingredients in Turbo Shred include:
- headaches
- insomnia
- anxiety
- increased heart rate
- nausea
- nervousness
- diarrhea
Be sure to drink plenty of water in conjunction with Turbo Shred. Do not take more than the recommended dosage and do not take after lunch unless you like watching late night TV.
Does Turbo Shred work well enough to buy?
Because of its proprietary blend, there is no way of knowing just how effective Turbo Shred may be. Turbo Shred may be dosed correctly, but we wouldn’t count on it. Years of reviewing diet pills for a living has made it hard for us to give the benefit of the doubt to the diet pill manufacturers.
Turbo Shred can be purchased online for around $40 plus shipping and handling. We were unable to find a money back guarantee. If you have tried Turbo Shred in the past, please tell us about your experience in the comment section.
